This is Valérie's personal selection for a family day that children will talk about long after the
holiday is over. Archery in the mountains with André, a guide whose knowledge of fynbos,
wild animals and local life captivates every age. A South African picnic surprise in nature. An
afternoon of water slides or quad bikes to finish the day with a proper splash.
Everything here is chosen because kids love it and parents can breathe. Active, outdoors,
exciting and full of the kind of small discoveries that only happen when you move through a
place rather than drive past it.
